I've bought a new Xiaomi Mi4 smartphone with 64GB memory. When I unboxed the device, I tried the camera and it was working fine. After few minutes, I have received an update notifiation to update the software to MIUI (KXDMICF) version with 633MB file to download. I've updated the software and now camera is not working. It's opening and takes photos and shoots videos but not storing those images/photos and videos to the internal memory of the device. Have anyone else faced the same problem after updating the device?

I guess this problem has nothing to do with your recent Android (MIUI) update to Mi4 smartphone. Please make sure you have not selected the "Guest" mode with a bell icon in your notification bar/status bar.

In Guest mode, MiUi users will not able to see gallery images, nor they can see the captured images from the camera app. Even if you install third party camera apps, those photos will not be visible. Please reply after checking it.

Thanks. I had enabled the Guest User mode in my phone as soon as I updated it to new software version. Now, I'm back to normal mode and all photos taken from camera are visible in gallery.
