I have a Lenovo laptop with AMD Radeon graphics and Intel Core i3 processor. I have Windows 10 installed. Recently, I have enabled the Windows Update in settings manually, and the update has begun to download and install. Now all of a sudden, after a reboot, my laptop's headphone jack has stopped working.

In device manager, the audio driver shows as Conexant Smart HD Audio, and my laptop's speakers are working fine. When I searched the history of Windows Updates, then I found out that my Conexant Smart Audio driver has been updated today itself. Now, I know that the problem arise due to the driver update.

Now, my Windows Update is still going on. I will wait for it to complete updating. Once after finishing the update with latest Windows 1607 version, I hope the problem will be resolved. I will update this post soon.
